15 Words or Less: Tumbling Pebbles

Joining  Laura Purdie Salas for 15 Words or Less

Laura’s picture prompt made me think of the pebbles beneath our kayaks, especially of the sunlight on and movement of the water as we move downstream.

Here’s my flash draft poem:

Tumbling Pebbles

Pebbles, smooth and sun dappled,

tumble beneath the rippling water

and cartwheel down the river.

Thanks for the chance to write poetry this Thursday morning, Laura!
